Kathryn  Grimm

Department of Physics

Dr. Grimm joined the Physics Department in Fall 2019. Before joining the faculty at CSUEB, Dr. Grimm was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lancaster University, UK, working on the ATLAS Particle Physics Experiment the CERN laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland.  Dr. Grimm continues to work on the ATLAS experiment where her work focuses on the Higgs boson and understanding Electroweak symmetry breaking through measurement of the Higgs self-coupling. She is also involved in modeling of radiation damage to the ATLAS detector and on the Phase II upgrade of the ATLAS pixel detector.
